Martin Joins CorpsVets Brass Staff

Atlanta CorpsVets Drum and Bugle corps is honored to announce that legendary brass instructor Freddy Martin has joined the brass team. Martin joins caption head Alan Armstrong and recent addition Dr. Chip Crotts in heading up the brass program for the corps. Martin’s 40 year instructional career includes serving as the founding director of the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps (where he still serves as Director Emeritus), a band director at South Cobb High School, Buford High School, and currently Westminster High School in the Atlanta area. Since 2004 he has served as brass technique staff with mellophones and brass coordinator for the 2008 DCI World Champion Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps.
