In The News: Drum Corps Bound
For Jacob Motl, music is the best way to express his emotions.
"Music for me is just a way to vent," the 18-year-old Memorial High School band member said. "I always play music just to get away."
This summer, Motl will take his contrabass tuba on tour with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. The corps, based in Casper, Wyo., is a marching band that consists of brass and percussion instruments, and color guard.
