2010 Cascades January Camp Report

Our January camp was a very successful and exciting weekend. For those that remember 2009’s January camp, the weather was a frightening blizzard and plenty of ice making for a tough ride home, but not this year! Temperate temperatures allowing everyone to focus on building a great drum corps.

The energy from the students was simply overwhelming. The Cascades is definitely on the path back to being a sought out World Class Drum Corps to spend a summer marching with. Attracting members from beyond our region, we again have members traveling from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, California, New Mexico, Canada and Japan to attend camps. Visual Caption Head John Freeman, says, "The energy from the members has been unbelievably positive. We as staff are so excited about the experience the students are having."
