Forte Releases Full 2010 Camp Schedule

Forte has announced the full 2010 Audition Schedule. After successful auditions both in person and in satellite locations, Contracts for membership are being assigned starting in January. Auditions for open spots will continue at all rehearsals until all spots and alternative positions are filled. Students can audition for the first time via attendance in Texas, Ohio, Virginia, or they may submit a videotape. Audition Procedures for all sections (including woodwind applicants who want to learn a new instrument/section) are available for download at www.fortecorps.org/auditions.htm

All students who have auditioned so far are receiving CorpsData log-ins that will be used to RSVP for rehearsals. (This also allows the staff to assign video homework to students with school conflicts for a rehearsal)

Contracts are offered at all rehearsals until spots are filled. Alternative spots may be assigned.

Virginia and Ohio Students need to bring their own instruments for the audition and camps at this location. If you need an instrument provided for you, please contact director [at] fortecorps [dot] org at least 3 days prior to camp. Battery Auditionees should bring a Snare drum.

Texas Students need to bring their own instruments for the audition and camps at this location until a contract has been assigned.. If you need an instrument provided for you, please contact director [at] fortecorps [dot] org at least 3 days prior to camp. Battery Auditionees should bring a Snare drum. We will have equipment available at this location on a limited basis due to the number of auditionees

**students may attend the VA or OH rehearsals in place of the Texas Rehearsals with the exception of April
