On Saturday January 30, 2010 there will be a Benefit Concert for Honor Flight Rochester featuring The Prime Time Brass at Aquinas Institute, Rochester, NY. Start time is 7:30pm

Also appearing will be the Aquinas Institute Jazz Ensemble
And special guests, The Ghost Riders

Tickets available at all Wegmans Food Stores – $6.00, $7.00 at the door.

Honor Flight has an important mission: To fly WWII vets to Washington DC to visit THEIR monuments.

The Prime Time Brass performed for Honor Flight in the summer of 2009 and found it to be one of the most moving and important musical experiences of their lives.

It costs approximately $500 to send one vet on the trip, and Prime Time Brass is calling on all their fans, colleagues, and supporters to come out in force for this special evening of music and honor.

The waiting list for Honor Flight is long, and all too often vets are moved up the list based on recommendation from their doctors or hospice caretakers. The national motto of Honor Flight is "It isn’t just important, it’s urgent." Every penny made from this event will go toward making the waiting list shorter.

This will be one of the final performances for Prime Time before heading off to the Mardi Gras. The FULL nationwide Prime Time Brass lineup will be on stage bringing their special brand of powerhouse big band jazz with a little drum corps sizzle.
