In The News: Drum Corps Recruit To Show His Brass

Jarred Sozzi expects to stay busy this summer with his mellophone.

Sozzi, 17, a Land O’ Lakes High School junior and band member, will tour the country as part of Drum Corps International, which brings top-notch high school and college musicians together to perform marching routines at football stadiums across North America.

June will find Sozzi in New Jersey and New York. July’s stops will include Ohio, Illinois and Texas, among others. The group will end its tour in Indianapolis in mid-August for the Drum Corps International World Championships.
