In The News: Revere Drum And Bugle Corps Group Honors Late Co-Founder

It has been more than a year since Harry Young has dusted off his drum but to honor an old friend and drum corp mentor George Bonfiglio, he not only broke it out Thursday, he lined up with former colleagues to play a tribute.

Bonfiglio, the co-founder and director of the 27th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps of Revere, died Friday, March 12. Young said members spanning the nearly two decades of the Lancers came out for their director’s wake to play Danny Boy and The Lord’s Prayer as a tribute to their former leader.
