Glassmen Brass Appear At Owens Gala

On Friday, March 26th, a brass ensemble made up of members of the 2010 GLASSMEN hornline performed selections at the annual Owens Community College Gala. This was a black tie event, and the corps fit right in with their striking cream and black uniforms; wowing the audience with the opening section of the 2010 program ‘The Prayer Cycle’ and traditional GLASSMEN encore selections.

"This was a very special night for the corps, and a huge (and positive) step in our growing relationship with Owens Community College", states Brian Hickman, GLASSMEN Executive Director, "I am very excited to continue to work with the Fine Arts Department, and see what the future holds for both organizations".
