In The News: Cooking For A Crowd

I have done some crazy things for my children: badgered coworkers to buy things they didn’t need, washed total strangers’ cars and spent way too many Friday nights in a concession stand. But when Larry, my oldest child, joined Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, volunteering took on a whole new meaning.

For those of you unfamiliar with drum corps, I’ll give you the short definition: a musical marching unit of young men and women from the ages of 14-21 from all across the United States and overseas, on a football field, who travel, for eight weeks in the summer, performing and competing against other drum corps.
