Phantom Regiment Family Mourns Two Alumni

The Phantom Regiment family is mourning the loss of Concetta (Savino) Culp. Concetta was a member of the color guard in 1996 and 1997. She then taught the Regiment’s feeder corps, the Phantom Legion in 1999, where she started dating Rich Culp, an alumni of the Regiment contrabass section (1994-1999). The two married in 2003. Concetta was an orthopedic surgical nurse for several years, working in Anniston, AL. Rich describes her as a consummate professional who made a positive difference in her patients’ lives. She successfully fought melanoma for several years before succumbing to its effects on April 21st. Services were held on May 8th at 3:00 p.m., in Anniston, Alabama.
