2010 Oregon Crusaders Memorial Day Camp Report

Despite the wet weather, the Oregon Crusaders made it out to camp this weekend in full force, on fire, and with new members showing up to fill some spots in the brass and percussion sections. There’s a lot of excitement about this year’s competitive prospects as a result of the growth of the size and maturity of the corps, as well as the show’s theme, "Dance of the Flames".

The OC also had a great turnout of volunteers and supporters. The food was great, and there was tremendous progress on uniform and flag sewing. Many new parents came out to help with cooking, serving food, clean up, and driving kids to the airport. The members are very fortunate to have such a wonderful support team.
