Busy Days For Jong Beatrix

Last week Jong beatrix had a busy week. The kids participated in the four-evening march, welcomed the march twice, and Saturday was used to get everyone ready for the contest in Huizen that is coming up in a few weeks.

Normally Jong Beatrix rehearses on Tuesday. Last Tuesday, however, was different: Hilversum’s four-evening march started that evening. Four-evening marches are an annual Dutch tradition during which residents walk a given distance during four evenings. The march is usually attended by large crowds in each town, and goes coupled with singing and other festivities.
