Christmas In May For The Raiders

Christmas came early for the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps this year. As a result of their partnership with Dynasty instruments, they were able to obtain new brass, battery and pit percussion instruments for the 2010 season. Santa Claus, in the form of support staffer Joe Kay, drove one of the corps’ equipment trucks to Wisconsin to pick up the instruments.

Keeping with the holiday spirit, Christmas decorations were displayed at the registration table and the food tents to welcome the arrival of “Santa” on his truck. The Corps members joyfully unpacked the truck and took inventory of the new instruments during their Memorial Weekend camp. All are looking forward to giving the new Dynasty instruments a workout as the Raiders prepare to take their show on the road for the 2010 competition season.
