In The News: Concord Bingo Appeal Heads To City Council

The City Council will now make the call about whether a bingo hall can open in Concord.

In April, the city issued an administrative approval of Pop’s Bingo World, to be located in the old Velocity gym building on Willow Pass Road just west of Highway 242.

The Concord Blue Devils drum corps, which runs a bingo hall north of Highway 4 in Concord, appealed that decision to the Planning Commission, which unanimously upheld the new hall’s approval.
