In The News: Drum, Bugle Corps Bound For Competition

It wasn’t a high school marching band making all the music this weekend at Brentsville District High School, it was the members Shenandoah Sound Drum and Bugle Corps practicing up for a trip to Troy, N.Y.

Corps’ member Kelsey Moran said she’s looking forward to the trip that will be to the group’s first competition of the season on July 17.

"I’m excited because it’s my first time with these guys. I’m excited to see what it’s really all about," said the 17-year-old Moran, who is in the Osbourn High School Marching Band during the school year.
