Jubal Tops Second DCN Contest In Huizen

Jubal has also topped the second Drum Corps Netherlands contest in Huizen. Juliana and Beatrix follow at 0.75 and 1.4 points respectively. The contest took place in the sunny Wolfkamer sports park where DCN had a stand built on the artificial pitch because the S.V. (sports centre) Huizen is building a new grandstand on the main field.

Jubal was strongest in almost all musical captions. They took the captions Music Effect, Field Percussion and Ensemble Muziek. Field Brass went to Beatrix. Surprisingly, Juliana came in second place and scored especially well in the Visual caption, winning both the Visual Effect and Visual Field captions. Juliana came second for Ensemble Visual. Beatrix is traditionally very strong on Color Guard and this caption went to the corps from Hilversum, as well as Field Brass.
