Shenandoah Sound Announces July 2010 Performance Schedule

Shenandoah Sound Drum & Bugle Corps, Virginia’s only drum corps, is proud to announce its July performance schedule. Shenandoah Sound is an all-age drum corps based in Manassas Park and will travel to several local and regional performances, representing Northern Virginia.

On July 3 and 4, the corps will participate in six July 4th parades in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This will be the second consecutive year that the corps will perform in the Catonsville, Arbutus, Towson, Dundalk, Bel Air, and Havre de Grace parades.

The corps will travel to Troy, New York on July 17 for its first competition of the 2010 season. There the corps will compete against other all-age drum corps from the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) organization.

The drum corps has received a special initiation to participate in the Boy Scouts of America Centennial Parade in Washington D.C. on July 25. The corps is pleased to announce that has accepted the invitation and will perform as part of the large parade down Constitution Avenue. The parade is expected to draw thousands of spectators including local and national elected leaders.

Finally, on July 29, the corps will travel to Brandy Station, Virginia to perform as part of the Brandy Station Fire Department’s annual parade.
