Veterans Honored As Part Of Cadets Hall Of Honored Veterans

The Cadets honored two veterans as part of the Cadets Hall of Honored Veterans on June 18 during the Allentown, Pa., show at J. Birney Crum Stadium. null

Honored were John Gangale of Midway Park, N.J., and Nick Patrisso of Clifton, N.J.

Patrisso marched as a snare drum player in The Cadets from its founding year in 1934 until 1941. He entered the US Navy in September 1942. He served on the Escort 316, serving in the Atlantic and Pacific Theatre until December 1945. Patrisso was discharged at the rank of Storekeeper, 3rd Class. When he returned home, after joyfully reuniting with family and friends, he rejoined the Holy Name Cadets Senior Corps at Legion 255 in Garfield, N.J.
