Beatrix Drumline With Scott Brown

Last week Scott Brown, percussion battery arranger of Beatrix’ and alumnus of Carolina Crown, flew in from the United States to bring Beatrix’ drum line to the next level. His musical book got a lot of attention and the members worked on technique and chops.

Beatrix’ worked hard during the approach to the DCN contest in Huizen. To make a good appearance several extra rehearsals were planned and Scott Brown was there to help out. The first Saturday was a warm up for him. The corps only rehearsed for half a day, and spent the afternoon watching the Netherlands-Japan soccer match. This was a bizarre moment for Scott, who was amazed to see these crazy soccer fans.
