GearWORKS Summer Program A Success

Forty-five students from Illinois, Missouri, Virginia, Tennessee and Wisconsin joined an all-star staff for the 2010 GearWORKS: Summer Drum Days in Naperville, Ill. on July 9-10, 2010. Camp Director Joe Roach said the goals were simply to "give each student specific instruction in technique with a tailored approach to individual skill levels." We wanted to make sure we prepare our GearWORKS students for the next step in their playing careers, while ensuring their current fundamentals are solid. Of course, North Central College once again provided exceptional facilities, as the students enjoyed new dorm rooms, a dedicated cook staff and a new field house for instruction. "This was the perfect learning environment!"
