In The News: Another Musical Marvel
Was Maple City Sound’s 21st annual Music Under the Stars a success? If you ask Mayor Shawn Hogan, the answer is definitely yes.
The mayor voiced his concerns over low-ticket sales in the weeks leading up to Saturday’s drum corps show at Maple City Park, but the grandstands were filled and others lined the fence around the football field.
“You always want more,” Hogan said, “but the stands were full. We did all right.”
