In The News: Drum And Bugle Corps Competition Slated In Kansas City

Seven 150-member world-class drum & bugle corps comprised of artists/athletes ages 14-22 will compete in Kansas City on one night. The corps members are young people from around Kansas City, from around the country, and from around the world. The Kansas City Brass Impact Drum and Bugle Corps Event will take place at Staley High School at 7:00 pm on July 19th . Enough said for drum corps veterans. However, the event is just delicious icing on the cake. The best part of this event comes from understanding, and better yet seeing, what is behind the glitter. As a drum corps parent, I would hope others could see how sweat teaches lasting lessons to the young adult corps members.
