In The News: Drum Corps Competition Lands In River Valley

Van Buren High School hosted the Drum Corps International competition Tuesday night.

Close to 1,000 musicians from across the country put forth their best routines in front of a crowd of thousands.

"It’s the only Drum Corps International event here in the state of Arkansas," said Ron Smith, director of the Van Buren High School Band. "We’re extremely proud to have two former world champions that have 16 world titles between the two of them."
