In The News: Here Come The Kilties

Perhaps it is the Kilties’ unique uniform, with its authentic Scottish kilt, white spats and red-on-black tam that makes the Racine-based drum and bugle corps so popular. Or, maybe it’s the fact that the Kilties feature men and women of all ages marching side by side.

Whatever the reason, the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps has been an audience favorite here, across the Midwest and beyond for many years. And next weekend folks in Racine and Kenosha can celebrate their 75th anniversary with them at two drum corps shows hosted by the kilted crew.
