Home cooking and a weather-shortened show are making headlines this week for the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps.
On Wednesday, Trooper mom Dee Black of Houston is taking charge of a home-cooked meal featuring ribeye steaks, loaded baked potatoes, salad, fresh bread, fruit cobbler and ice cream.
Black’s son, Adam, is an age-out mellophone player for the Troopers, meaning this is his last season to march.
