In The News: It’s Drum Corps Season And I Can’t Wait
It was July of 1969. I was 17 at the time and was walking past the school I attended — Scott High School in North Braddock.
As I approached, I noticed numerous buses, equipment trailers and lots of people heading there. Then I saw a sign that welcomed everyone to the Pennsylvania American Legion junior and senior drum and bugle corps championships.
