In The News: North County Hosts Drum Corps International Showdown

The first Drum Corps International drum and bugle corps competition in Atascadero was held on Sunday, June 27 at the Atascadero High School Memorial Stadium.

"This was an outstanding beginning to what will hopefully be more DCI visits in the years to come," Atascadero resident Walter Reil said. "From seeing the very supportive turnout of inquisitive and enthusiastic spectators, it appears the event was a grand success for the California Central Coast and visiting corps’ Santa Clara Vanguard, Pacific Crest, Velvet Knights and Revolution."
