In The News: Small Fry Plays Big Role In Music On The March
They call her Small Fry.
That 4-foot, 11-inch drum major, standing tall for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps Wednesday night during Music on the March, was Michelle Wolfe, a 17-year-old from Dickeyville, Wis. She is in her first year as a Colt, but her seventh with the organization.
But first the Racine (Wis.) Scouts "struck up the band" to open the competition at Dalzell Field with "The Fascinating Rhythms of George Gershwin."
