Crossmen Director Announcement

Crossmen Corps Director Mark Chambers announced Saturday morning that he was resigning as the Director of the corps. The announcement was made at the annual drivers breakfast and age out ceremony.

Chambers was recently appointed as the Music Program Director for the North East Independent School District and cited the recent develepment along with family as the main reasons for his decision. He released the following statement.

“The Crossmen Drum Corps is a great organization that truly deserves a full time director who is able to devote his time and energy to the operations, staff and members. I will remain involved with the corps as a consultant and will retain my position on the Crossmen Board of Directors. Please know that Fred, Maureen and I are committed to ensuring that this corps continues to flourish and to the mission of serving young people in this great activity. It has been a pleasure to serve as the Crossmen Director for the last 4 years and an honor to have been a part of Drum Corps International”.
