In The News: Blue Devils Back- To-Back Champions

Concord’s Blue Devils “A” Corps has — for the 14th time and second consecutive year — been chosen best in the World Class of the Drum Corps International World Championship, more than any other drum corps. And the Blue Devils “B” Corps repeated its win in the Open Class.

The Blue Devils traveled 15,000 miles for 30 performances across the United States, concluding their tour with the final competition at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

Renowned for its creative, award-winning excellence, the Blue Devils’ “A” Corps’ challenging “Through a Glass, Darkly” program honored the innovative “City of Glass” album by Bob Graettinger, which was written for jazz great Stan Kenton.
