In The News: Drum And Bugle Corps Plans Show In Haven
The 142 drummers, trumpeters and baritone tuba players didn’t mind Wednesday’s blazing sun while they practiced at Rotary Field.
“It’s a nice atmosphere. We’ve been in the south for the past month. It’s a nice transition. It’s cooler,” said Adam Collins, 21, a marimba player from Ann Arbor, Mich.
The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps of Casper, Wyo., a group of 142 young adults from across the nation, worked on Trittico Mvt. 1, composed by Vaclav Nelhybel, and the accompanying choreography to heighten their performance set for Saturday night at Schuylkill Haven Rotary Field.
