Music For All Will Bring DCI Premier Event To Ball State

Indianapolis-based Music For All (MFA) announced today during a lunchtime press conference that it would relocate its annual Summer Symposium, a weeklong summer camp for high school music students, from the campus of Illinois State University (ISU) in Normal, to Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., starting in June of 2011.

Beginning in 1976, MFA?s Summer Symposium was originally headquartered at the University of Whitewater Wisconsin before moving to Illinois State University. Drum Corps International has hosted its annual DCI Central Illinois Premier Event at ISU as the finale to the Symposium since 1999.
