Cavaliers Travel To Japan This Fall

On October 27, 2010, eighteen members of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps percussion section, along with Corps Director Adolph DeGrauwe and Percussion Caption Head Brian Tinkel, will travel to Japan for a 9-day trip that includes performing in multiple concerts, parades and clinics celebrating the 25th National Cultural Festival sponsored by Yamaha Corporation. This marks the third official visit The Cavaliers have made to Japan, including previous trips in 1996 and 2004.

The Cavaliers are proud to represent the United States of America and Yamaha Corporation at the 25th National Cultural Festival in Okayama City, Japan. This is an exciting opportunity for The Cavaliers to participate in Japan’s largest cultural festival and honor a long tradition of excellence in music and arts education.
