DCE Introduces Floating Trophy

This year, Drum Corps Europe is introducing a floating trophy. Along with the customary ?Champions flag?, the winner of the Premier Class will also receive a cup which is over one meter tall.

The traditional flags will certainly remain, but the floating trophy will become a new tradition. “A huge, shiny cup is part of winning a European title”, says Chairman Marcel Matthijsse from DCE. All members of the winning corps in the Premier Class and the Junior Class will also receive individual medals.

Corps will take the trophy home to put in their prize cabinet for one year.
