Mandarins Invited To Perform At Veterans Day Concert

The Mandarins have been invited to perform at a Veteran’s Day concert with the Sacramento Youth Symphony on November 11 at 6pm. This free event at the Memorial Auditorium in downtown Sacramento is co-sponsored by Raley’s and Wells Fargo and is recognized as an official Veteran’s Day event by the United States Armed Forces. SYS musical director Michael Neumann is excited to have the Mandarins brass line perform a couple of selections along with the Premier symphony orchestra. In addition to the Mandarins, other featured guests include presentations by the 442nd Regiment, the Navajo Code Talkers and the Tuskegee Airmen.

Rehearsals are Tuesday, November 9 at 6:30pm at Rosemont HS, 9594 Kiefer Blvd., and Thursday, November 11 at 1:30 pm at the Memorial Auditorium, 1515 J Street.
