Weber To Head Blue Knights Percussion Program

The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Weber to Percussion Caption Head. Paul is entering into his fourth year with the Blue Knights program and will replace outgoing Caption Head Jeff Ausdemore.

?I am so grateful for the leadership Jeff brought to the corps over the past five years,? said Blue Knights Executive Director Mark Arnold. ?Jeff brought a high level of professionalism to the Blue Knights and his dedication to his students and the musical excellence of the Blue Knights will continue to benefit us well into the future.?

?I?m honored to be able to leave the program in such capable hands,? stated Ausdemore. ?I am both grateful and humbled by the opportunities the Blue Knights family has given me through the years, both musically and otherwise. The sophistication, artistry and excellence that each of the members and staff commit to each year is simply inspiring. As I step down in my role as percussion caption head/arranger, I am still deeply committed to the success of the drum corps, and look forward to many seasons to come, and will remain close to staff and management during this transition.? ?Although Jeff is stepping back from drum corps for the time being, he will continue to play an important role in the success of the corps.? said Arnold. ?I wish him well and am extremely grateful for his contributions.?
