Jersey Surf Announces 2011 Brass Instructional Staff

There’s no such thing as an “off-season.”

Perhaps there used to be… when the Jersey Surf program was in its earliest stages of development, and long before the corps ascended to the ranks of Drum Corps International’s elite “World Class.”

“Planning for 2011 began before the 2010 season ended,” says Executive Director Bob Jacobs. “With an administrative team of volunteers and without the benefit of full-time employees, we know that we have to work hard to establish a solid game plan and attend to all of the hundreds of details necessary to guarantee an outstanding experience for everyone involved in the Surf program. Providing the fuel for the corps to continue to grow is always a top priority, and we have little doubt that the coming year will prove to be the most successful in our history; drawing on a passionate and invigorated alumni base, a strong foundation of volunteers, a highly-motivated team of returning veteran members and thanks to all that has been taking place with behind-the-scenes planning over the past few months.”
