Troopers Announce 2011 Color Guard Captain

The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce that Phillip “Fez” Franklin will serve as color guard captain for the 2011 season.

Phillip is currently pursuing a Music Education degree from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. He is originally from Raleigh, NC and attended West Johnston High School where he was drum major for the marching band as well as a member of the winter guard from 2005-2008.

Phillip joined the Troopers in 2010 and instantly proved to be a wonderful asset to the group. We are excited that he will be back with us in 2011 in this leadership role and know that he will do a fantastic job!
