In The News: Bessemer Drum Corps To Play In Green Bay

The members of Marty?s Goldenaires don’t usually play on a field or practice past Labor Day weekend. But this year, the drum and bugle corps is making a few exceptions because they’ve never been invited to play for the 72,000 football fans at Lambeau Field.

“At this point it still doesn’t seem real,” says corps commander Tim Lynott. “Last week we practiced on Massie Field for the first time, and we’re going to do it again tonight. I still don’t think it’ll seem real until we’re actually marching onto the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.”
