Mandarins Veteran’s Day Concert Report
The Mandarins performed as a Special Guest of the Sacramento Youth Symphony’s Premier Orchestra, at their annual Veteran’s Day concert, Patriotism & Peace. Held at the Memorial Auditorium, the full house included Veterans of the Tuskeegee Airmen, 442nd Regiment, and Navajo Code Talkers, who shared their histories. The grand evening concluded with a stirring performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. See the video here.
