Santa Clara Vanguard’s New Equipment Trailer Arrives

The Santa Clara Vanguard is embarking on outfitting a new 53′ equipment trailer for the 2011 summer season. The arrival of this vehicle from Louisville, KY signals the final and most major phase of a process that began just over two years ago with initial discussions and planning.
The new trailer will replace a 48′ Kentucky trailer the Vanguard has used since 1990. The 48′ equipment trailer will be passed over to the Vanguard Cadets in the spring of 2011.

The new trailer – similar to the trailer it’s replacing – will feature two levels, with bays on lower half for the front ensemble and the second level containing brass, battery percussion and color guard equipment, as well as uniforms.
