Teal Sound Mourns Loss Of Board Member

It is with heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Teal Sound board member, Mr. Jon Kersten. Jon passed on October 28th 2010 and is no longer in pain from the cancer that had infected his body. Jon has been around drum corps all of his life. He was truly a giant in the pageantry arts in the State of Florida and US. Jon is the founder of the Florida Marching Band Championships and was a pioneering leader in the industry. He will be deeply missed. We send our most heartfelt condolences to his family.”
