2011 Glassmen November Audition Camp Report

The GLASSMEN officially began their 50th Anniversary season last weekend – and what a weekend it was!

After a full day of Thanksgiving and turkey, the GLASSMEN family kicked off the holiday weekend and headed to NW Ohio / Michigan for the first audition camp of the 2011 season.

All sections began the audition camp in the main gym of Morenci HS (affectionately known as G-North), where director Brian Hickman met with the corps, introduced the staff, and talked the applicants through the weekend and what to expect with the auditions. The meeting included a question/answer session where staff, members, and veterans got to share their thoughts and ideas about the GLASSMEN and the upcoming 50th anniversary season. Everyone was energized for the weekend, and headed off into sections to start the audition process and learn more about the GLASSMEN.
