Freeman Leads 2011 Cascades Visual Team

The Cascades are pleased to announce that long time drum corps veteran John Freeman will be returning for 2011 as Visual Caption Head. John has been involved with the Cascades since 2001 and brings a high level of enthusiasm and experience to the job.

It is in the strategic plan for the Cascades to transition Mr. Freeman to the administrative team in 2012. With that in mind, John will be helping to make that transition a smooth process by cultivating the visual team and developing new leaders for the future.

“I am excited to have John on board in the dual role of visual caption head and also shaping the future direction of the caption for the Cascades. His ability to motivate young people is remarkable and I am certainly hopeful that he passes that quality on to the visual staffing for the Cascades in the future,” states Ron Comfort, Cascades Assistant Director.
