West Returns To Pioneer For 2011 Season

Steve is a Pioneer alumni, performing with the 1996 Division II Silver Medalist Corps. Following his drum corps marching career, Steve spent ten years in the United States Navy. While stationed in California, he was a member of the SoCal Dream (senior) Drum and Bugle Corps from 2002 ? 2005. He also served as the Low-Brass instructor in 2005. Since 2007 Steve has been on the Pioneer’s visual staff, teaching both high and low brass.

In May of 2010, he graduated from the University of Wyoming with his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at the University of Wyoming Steve was on the university marching bands visual staff. He now teach Kindergarten through 5th grade music and beginning band in Newcastle, Wyoming.
