Darrell Goslin – A Young Friend Passes

Sunday, January 16th, 2010 DCA Percussion Caption Head and a shining star in the marching arts community, Darrell Goslin lost his battle with cancer at the all too young age of 38. A well-known band director in the Eastern Pennsylvania area ? most recently at Phoenixville HS ? Darrell performed with both the current DCA Champion Reading Buccaneers and DCI?s Crossmen.

Darrell was well known and respected in the judging community and worked for WGI, DCI and was judging coordinator for the Mid Atlantic Percussion Society as well as DCA. He is survived by a loving family that includes his parents, sisters, wife, Sarah and young sons, Reid and Jackson.

 

A college savings account has been established for his two sons. Funeral Services will be, 8 p.m., January 20, at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville. With a viewing, 4-7:45 p.m.
