Leaman to Present At SCSBOA Winter Conference

Program Coordinator Dale Leaman will present a session at the upcoming Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) Winter Conference on Saturday, January 22nd. The SCSBOA Vice President of Field Adjudication, Rick Naylor, will preside over the session, entitled “Field Show Planning & Design.”
Dale is well-known throughout the Southern California marching band activity, having composed, arranged, and taught for more than 50 bands over the past 30 years.
“When we started Pacific Crest in 1993,” explains Executive Director Stuart Pompel, “Dale was working closely with some of the largest and most successful high school bands at the time, including Diamond Bar and Los Altos. I am really excited that SCSBOA has asked him to present on behalf of Pacific Crest. To have Pacific Crest on the SCSBOA Conference Agenda is quite an honor!”
