Beatrix Education Plan

With the founding of Beatrix Association two years ago, the board decided that the educational plan should receive more attention. The current goal is to make sure that all children who play an instrument are able to read music, in order to raise the overall musical level and to make the transition from Jong Beatrix to Beatrix’ Drum & Bugle Corps a little easier.

In the past years the staff members wrote their own exercises. The main reason for this was that the study books that were available were not suited for children and so it took years to work through one. In this way the members were already gone before completing the educational program.
