Jim Seefeldt May You Never Walk Alone

It is with great sadness that we report that Jim Seefeldt passed away earlier today, Friday, February 11, 2011.

For those unfamiliar with Jim’s legacy, he was tireless supporter and fan of the corps and was the surrogate parent (along with his wife Jean) to over 50 Madison Scouts throughout the years. During the period of time in 70s when more and more Scouts came from outside the Madison area, the Seefeldts would house several of the Scouts each season during winter camps and at the start of the season.

Known as “The Seefeldt Kids”, the Scouts who stayed with Jim & Jean still maintain a special bond across many generations.
