Cavaliers Recognize Dr. Shanefield, Dr. Tinkel

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps would like to congratulate and recognize Brass Composer/Arranger Dr. Drew Shanefield and Percussion Caption Head Dr. Brian Tinkel on their respective doctoral achievements.

Dr. Andrew Shanefield serves as both an instrumental music teacher for School District of Haverford Township (PA) and as a faculty member in the Department of Music and Dance at Swarthmore College. Shanefield graduated magna cum laude from New York University in 1992. He received a Masters in Music Education degree from Queens College and a Masters in Music Performance from West Chester University. He recently completed his Doctorate in Higher Education from Widener University.
